Database platforms as a service

Managed Databases

We manage the database platform as one service, from architecture and migration to query monitoring, backup, upgrades and incident recovery.

SOLUTION

Value

What your
business gets

Value

Stable business-critical applications

Control

Lower risk of data loss and corruption

Flexibility

Predictable performance as demand grows

Outcome

Clear operational ownership

When it fits

Situations where the service creates value

We start with the operating situation, constraints and the result that must change for the business — not with a technology list.

A critical application depends on a database whose health becomes visible only after user complaints.

The platform or version must change without losing data or causing an extended outage.

Backups exist, but recovery time and completeness have never been validated.

Included in the solution

We assemble the required
configuration.

Database administration and monitoring

We monitor availability, locks, queries, capacity and logs, applying operational changes through an agreed control process.

High availability and replication

We design replication, clustering and failover, then test the scenarios and record the achieved RPO and RTO.

Platform migration and modernization

We migrate databases across versions, platforms and sites using rehearsals, data reconciliation and a controlled outage window.

Backup and data protection

We configure layered backups, encryption and access controls, and regularly prove recovery instead of merely confirming that an archive exists.

Delivery in detail

What we agree before work begins

Project boundary

We define database instances, criticality, availability model, RPO/RTO, administration boundaries and change controls. Scope can include PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MySQL/MariaDB, ClickHouse and other agreed platforms.

Required inputs

We need application and integration diagrams, database versions, data volumes and growth, workload profiles, query statistics, resilience settings and approved secure access.

Acceptance

We validate data integrity, control queries, performance, failover, backup and recovery against the agreed RPO and RTO.

After launch

We operate monitoring, upgrades, capacity, query optimization, backup validation and incident response as one managed process.

Process

Three steps
to launch.

Diagnose

We establish workloads, dependencies, bottlenecks and RPO/RTO requirements.

Change

We design architecture, migration and resilience, then execute safely.

Manage

We observe metrics, tune queries and regularly validate recovery.

Solution: Managed Databases

We will assess the database estate
and define a reliable operating model
